The global environmental education community meets to build the future
At a time when environmental challenges require new ideas, new alliances, and renewed collective commitment, the WEEC Network invites researchers, educators, professionals, and communities from around the world to participate in Reconnect with Earth, the virtual international conference dedicated to environmental education, sustainability, and ecological transition.
From November 17–20, 2026, the conference will offer a forum for international discussion to share research, experiences, innovative practices, and visions capable of inspiring change.
In parallel, the fourth edition of the conference for young people aged 12 to 25, called YEEC (Youth Environmental Education Conference), will bring their voices and proposals to the major international scientific meeting.

The conference will present theoretical contributions, case studies, literature reviews, field experiences, and innovative projects that address the major challenges of contemporary environmental education.
A space open to innovation
The conference particularly encourages proposals that enhance approaches that are: interdisciplinary and transdisciplinary; comparative and international; participatory and community-oriented; and capable of integrating media, the arts, creativity, and emotional intelligence as tools for transformation.

– Very affordable conference registration fees (between €15 and €90).
– Synchronous sessions spread across different time slots to accommodate different geographic areas, also available in recorded form.
– Content accessible asynchronously and interaction with speakers through the platform.
– Scientific journals and other organizations will be able to organize their own events independently and free of charge.
